What Rhona Does
Rhona leads our Family Law Department.
She qualified in 1995 and deals with all aspects of marriage and relationship breakdown.
She specialises in the financial aspects of relationships, from drawing up pre-nuptial or co-habitation agreements through to negotiation or litigation following a separation.
She regularly acts for and against professionals and business owners and is experienced in dealing with farms and the rural communities.
She is a straight talker who, whilst respectful and keen to focus on what clients hope to achieve, is realistic about their prospects of success. She is mindful of keeping legal costs proportionate to the outcome to be achieved.
She has written articles on International Parental Child Abduction and Forced Marriage for the International Family Law Bar Association.
Rhona is an Accredited Specialist with and a committed member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.
About Rhona
Rhona is married with a son.
She has lived and worked abroad; in India (British High Commission, New Delhi for four years) and Turkey (British Consulate –General, Istanbul for two). This experience has given her a broad cultural outlook as well as an understanding of expatriate life.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, walking, badminton and is also a Cub Scout leader in her local village.
